Morning Meeting in new Peace Room at the University of Massachusetts Boston with the bust of President Obama and his grandmother which the school commissioned as part of the Grandmother Love Project. It is our dream to present the First Family with this beautiful representation of the love Barack and his Grandmother Madelyn Dunham shared. The bust is accompanied by a large book of personal grandmother stories people from around the country have submitted. The bust was in Governor Deval Patrick's office to start the project and his grandmother story is the first submitted.
Tuesday Yoga Class Nancy and Lizzy Yoga class is the most favorite activity of the week because it offers that special time with Nancy who brings everyone together to stretch and move and savor the energy flow in our bodies which during our everyday rushing around, we ignore. Being in touch with ourselves is what it's all about. You can't really do much good for the world if you're not looking after yourself -- making sure your fit, well fed and thinking positive thoughts. Yoga is the time put aside for YOU.
