CERTIFICATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES

The Life Experience School was awarded a two-year license from Department of Developmental Services (DDS) on February 25, 2010, which was the 38th year of full certification by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Its certification was "WITH DISTINCTION".

Our agency's licensing and certification ratings were achieved in the following areas:
Rights and Dignity
Personal Well Being
Organizations has systems in place to safeguard individuals enrolled
Individual controls
Community and Social Connections
Personal Growth and Accomplishments
Overall organizational structures.

This means that our agency, as described in the licensing letter from the DDS Director of Survey and Certification, "has joined an elite group of agencies that provide outstanding services in all areas".
